Heartwish Massage & Bodywork

Dear HeartWish Clients and Students,

Outdoor Yoga Classes will be starting this Saturday, June 27th on the Spring Lake grounds (by the pool and tennis courts) in the Forgotten Mile. Free parking, plenty of shaded and full sun spots, and lots of room to socially distance yourself from your yogi neighbor. Please bring your own mat and props. Classes are $10 and available for online purchase through MindBody. Masks are not required. Weather permitting.

In our mission to create and sustain a healthy community, all other services, classes, and events will take a pause until things settle down. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Sending blessings of good health to you and yours,

Greer & the HeartWish Healing Team

Katherine Braun, Dipl. ABT

Katherine completed her Shiatsu certification (Dipl. ABT from AOBTA) at Zen Shiatsu in Chicago, Il in 2015. There she was lucky enough to learn from mentors who had been practicing Shiatsu for over 40 years, and participated in two International Shiatsu Symposia. While studying Shiatsu, Katherine was an active participant in the healing community in Chicago, where she had a chance to deepen her yoga and meditation practices, receive regular acupuncture and explore energetic healing. Prior to living in Chicago, her path led her to live and study in Chile, the UK and India, as well as teach in Spain and travel through all three continents. She holds a double BA in History and Sociology from the University of Michigan, as well as an MSc in Contemporary Urbanism from The London School of Economics. She now calls Delaware her home. Her interests include TCM, Ayurveda, Yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, reading, exploring on her bike, cooking, drinking tea and delving deeper into holistic health.

Katherine has always had an intuitive sense that she was “a healer”, although it wasn’t until she discovered Shiatsu that she really knew what this meant for her. She enjoys the depth and connection of the one-on-one interaction in bodywork therapy, and feels deeply honored to be able to share in her clients healing journey.
