Heartwish Massage & Bodywork

Dear HeartWish Clients and Students,

Outdoor Yoga Classes will be starting this Saturday, June 27th on the Spring Lake grounds (by the pool and tennis courts) in the Forgotten Mile. Free parking, plenty of shaded and full sun spots, and lots of room to socially distance yourself from your yogi neighbor. Please bring your own mat and props. Classes are $10 and available for online purchase through MindBody. Masks are not required. Weather permitting.

In our mission to create and sustain a healthy community, all other services, classes, and events will take a pause until things settle down. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Sending blessings of good health to you and yours,

Greer & the HeartWish Healing Team

Jacqueline Just I have always invested in daily movement & exercise

Jacqueline Just

I have always invested in daily movement and exercise from ballet to kung fu, training for marathons, cycling and long distance swimming.
I began a dedicated yoga practice at Open Space Yoga, Honolulu in 2009, where I was able to research different styles under inspired teachers. So I was devastated when in 2014 back pain uncovered a spinal anomaly. During physical therapy I learned how to “engage the core.” It was a lightbulb moment.

After moving to Rehoboth in 2015, I studied at Equinox NYC achieving a certificate in Pilates Mat. I was amazed how much strength I gained.
Since then I have promoted the importance of the body/mind connection in exercise, and especially as we age, “changing it up” to increase neuroplasticity and neurogenesis. I have added Aerial Yoga to my repertoire. It not only informs yoga practice, but also increases flexibility, core and arm strength, and proprioception. Best of all, it’s super fun!
